That covers local domestic moves, multi-site distribution and heavy commercial freight, plus the exhibition and trade show work that runs on venue timetables. Whatever the job, the kit is the same: tail lifts, protective blankets and proper strapping on every vehicle. Bigger loads are planned across the vehicles the job actually needs, and seven-day operation means the schedule bends to yours rather than the other way round.
Our vehicles and capacity
Two vehicle classes cover almost everything, from a flat full of furniture to a factory clearance.
3.5-tonne large Luton vans. The workhorse for residential moves, narrow access points, quick site transfers and light commercial deliveries. Tail lifts, protective blankets and strapping systems come as standard, and the van gets closer to the door than anything bigger can.
18-tonne rigid heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Built for large family home relocations, full office clearances and bulk cargo distribution. The hydraulic tail lifts take the strain, so nothing gets hauled up a ramp by hand.
Which class the job gets is decided by the load, the access and the timing, not by whatever is nearest the yard that morning. That is what keeps prices sensible and the paperwork simple: you pay for the capacity the job needs, no more.
How a commercial job runs
Start with our [quote form](#quote), a phone call or [an email](/contact). We need the load, both addresses or the venue, and the dates. If the job is unusual, the operations team will ask the right questions.
We match the vehicles and the crew to the load, build the schedule, and send a fixed quote. A 10% deposit at booking secures the slot. For event work, the plan is built around the venue's timetable from the start.
The crew arrives within the agreed window and loads properly: blankets, straps and tail lifts where they help. Timed venue slots, single drops or scheduled routes all run to the plan we agreed.
Everything is unloaded, positioned where you want it, and signed for. If the job has a return leg, such as an evening collection after a show, that is planned into the same booking.
Payment is straightforward. A 10% deposit at booking secures your slot, and the balance is due after the job is complete. We take payment by bank transfer, card or cash. Goods in transit cover of £50,000 comes as standard on every job, backed by £1,000,000 of public liability cover.

Event, exhibition and trade show logistics
Exhibitions run on the venue’s clock, not yours. The stand is up by 8am or the show does not open, and the hall wants everything out by 10pm. We handle the transport side of corporate events, trade shows, exhibitions and venue displays:
- Exhibition stand and equipment transport. Display booths, staging, props, lighting and AV equipment, wrapped and strapped for safe transit.
- Timed venue delivery and collection. We work to the slots the venue hands out, and the collection happens the same evening, not the next week.
- On-site handling support. An experienced crew to load, unload and position equipment at your designated stand, not just drop it at the loading bay.

National hauliers
Strong on pallet networks and long runs, but a one-off commercial move means account forms, minimum charges and a driver who drops at the loading bay and leaves. Flexible timing is rarely part of the deal.
Best for: regular palletised freight on fixed routes.
General movers doing a freight job
A house mover with a spare van will take the booking, but commercial work needs load planning, tail lift capacity and crews who lift for a living. The savings vanish the first time a heavy item meets a bad staircase.
Best for: a light commercial load that fits a standard house move.
Storage between jobs
Commercial work often needs somewhere to put things between phases: archive boxes out of the office before a refit, furniture waiting for the new floor to be finished, event kit that has nowhere to live between shows. We run our own storage yard with sealed 250 cu ft wooden containers under 24 hour security and CCTV.
